Help: Delayed gear shifts when engine is hot
I have a 2003 Mercedes Benz e320 cdi from the UK.
It seems to have a transmission problem but local mechanics can't seem to figure out how to solve it.
It drives perfectly (shifting at 2000rpm) until the engine heats up after prolonged use then gear shifting is delayed (shifting at 5000rpm or only after tapping gear lever to the right).
I have gotten the transmission serviced to no avail and mileage is at 112072km. Diagnostic scan shows no transmission errors.
May you kindly assist on how best to fix this problem.

Given repeated service history (ATF fine), and assuming use of MB diagnostics to check for codes.
