Compressor airmatic stop work

Exclamation Compressor airmatic stop work
Hello.
Have w211 whit airmatic.
Problem is compressor work 5 second and after this stop and no more working.
When check on star diagnoses write overheating
After you remove error compressor again start working.
This compressor is 8 bar.
My question is can manual start compressor work whitout star diagnoses ?
