POSSIBLE BAD ECU.

Where do i send my ecu to be refurbished, i believe its bad due to the continuing misfire at #6cyl.
rebuilt heads
New coils
New plugs.
Any advice,thanks in advance.

Check ebay. With lower shipping cost in last years, lot of European shops do it pretty cheap.

Thanks here is a pic of the code pulled . Now when i hit the help button on the scanner it reads fault in ecm or pcm.

You scanners indicates 5 codes?
The code you show is coil circuit, so did you eliminate other possibilities before jumping on ECU conclusion?

Yes, the other codes are for random misfire, misfire codes and the p0356.
something told me to clear that up, that someone might be side tracked by those all misfire related to #6

Bad connection to coil has to create misfires.
At least you have cylinder number to narrow troubleshooting.
Swap the coils.

Already swapped the coil no change misfire stays at the #6,this is why i believe the driver for #6 coil in the ecu is bad.

Welll taking 9 replies to tell us whole story is not helping.
ECU diagnosis is not going to be easy. I still would risk $150 to have it diagnosed by dealer.

Nobody is going to help you if you can't help yourself. You're jumping to the least likely and most expensive conclusion with no explanation why. No codes, no symptoms no repair history. Suddenly you're sure the ECU is bad? Ok good luck with that.

did a new or ecm repair resolve your issue? I am having almost the same exact issue but on coil #7 open circuit as well as open circuit on evaporator purge valve.

I’ve already changed my coil and spark plug and checked connection at the coil, I cannot find any issues which leads me to believe it’s ecm issues.
