Angry Taillight issues 05 E320 W211 wagon Need Schem's

Gruntings and salivations
I'm having erratic fails and error messages on the instrument panel: sometimes 4 errors, sometimes 6. When I grabbed phone to take pix of them, THEY WERE GONE !! NO messages, for the 1st time in MONTHS! Signals worked, taillights worked, I was SHOCKED but ECSTATIC!
Then - the next time the wife took off in it, the same old ErrMsgs showed up again!
Scanner complains of problem talking to N211 module, but that's in the tailgate - and the error messages about tail and brake lights on both sides ALSO say that the ALTERNATE lights (the ones in the tailgate) have been ACTIVATED. Gee - THANKS?
So just how difficult can these brilliant German engineers make it to take care of tail/brake/signal bulbs, anyway? THIS IS A STEALERSHIP ITEM - NOT fit for DIY? COME ON!!!!

Well, I can't find the Phillips light bulbs ANYWHERE; most online MB parts houses don't even LIST ANYTHING for this stupid model; electrical schematics don't seem to exist; tutorials or YT videos for even getting TO the taillight fixtures are NONEXISTENT -- this is beginning to make me FURIOUS! Of course, what did I expect from a car whose A/T fluid isn't EVER supposed to be changed???

Well, I'm mostly German, by blood, but this makes me CRAZY! I'm thinking we let SOMEONE OFF TOO EASY in '45!!

Well, no, AAMOF, I have not. That's precisely what I would LIKE to do, IF I could find the theoretical connections and wire colors in a schematic, plus (hopefully) some clue how to get TO the right side tail. Left side is easy, self-evident, and the tailgate ain't bad - but until I have a clue what I'm going to be looking for in order to find test POINTS I'm as a loss how to proceed.
Just bought this last July, with knowledge of its having been rear-ended, so when these errors showed up I wasn't shocked. I naively thought it was just bulbs, at first, which proved to be impossible to find (of course). What it SEEMS would be the likely place to fail IS the tailgate lights, but those WORK while the outboard lights do not (except for one brief, taunting moment yesterday).
Anyway, I'm grateful for your RE, and will examine your gift PDFs post haste! (So excited to find this - had to RE before I even took the time to look!)
Thanks BOATLOADS!

BTW - where did you FIND such fine info? Would it by any chance be found in something like THIS:

www DOT ebay DOT com WHACK itm WHACK 124031730705

??? Not a lot of $ to find out, but I did waste about $40 on a yearly scrip to something that had NOTHING on the estate wagon. Fortunately, they said they'll refund....
