Lease Question..What should I do?
I have a "replacement" 2003 E-500 (August Build) with Navigation, Wood Steering Wheel, Parktronic, DD Seats, Folding back seats, 8500 miles...I think the lights, 4 station heat/cool system, etc are standard with the E500. I think the sticker price was about $66,500.
I paid cash for the E-500. What do think I could get for it now?
I am thinking about selling the E500 and leasing a 2005. I have never leased before and have always paid cash. It seems that I could use the proceeds to lease for a number of years and still have new cars every three years.
Does this make sense to anyone? What would I have to pay for a 36 month lease and 17,000 miles?
I really don't know the pros and cons of leasing vs outright purchase.
I really would like some serious opinions.
