I was just watching Speed Channel and just when they were doing a segment on the W211...I got a phone call and missed the entire segment. 
It was a brilliant silver W211. I think the program was called 5th Gear. Anyone watch it? How was the review?

It's actually a review of an E320 classic. And an old review at that. They compared it to the previous generation of 5 series and said that while Merc had improved the looks and interior, the 5 was still superior.
5th gear's really pretty spotty as car shows go, esp one from across the pond. The Pagani section was a hoot, as are some of the more interesting car segments, but for the most part they review common cars that will never come over here. Mildly interesting, but gets kind of boring after a while. Case in point, they just had a segment on how hot "Yank Tanks" (SUVs) are getting with the British Elite. If that happens, I'm going to be a very sad Yank.
I'd call it the Autoweek of British Car shows....and a far cry from say top gear or best motoring, or the best all arounder, Auto Motor Und Sport.
