Crankshaft position sensor location ?

Hello everyone can someone please help me find the location of the CRANKSHAFT sensor for the m156 ? I tried looking everywhere but I’ve only found instructions on how to replace it for other engines.

thanks !

Remove engine cover, explained in video (addresses non-related coil replacement).

Yes sir! You will be working more of less blind. There isnt much room back there at all.

Did you replace that other cam position sensor as well?

Right on! We are here to help. Also, I would probably replace that exhaust cam sensor on the drivers side as well. Its definitely worth it to do it in pairs.
