just arrived!
i just pickup my new e500 05' sport amg package with panoramaroof its white with black interior.
the brakes felt weird when i left the dealer. and does the panoramaroof express close or just opens because mine just opens and doesnt close express is this normal.

The brakes will be great.. Don't worry you will get used to them. They are so good that I am afraid the guys behind me will be able to stop fast enough when I step on them..

congrats on the new whip. sounds like a hot color combo. I agree w/ attsystems. You'll learn the brakes and then love 'em. But the brakedust you may never get beyond hating!

Ahhh, the brake dust! That crap comes out of the brakes onto the wheel just like so much soft ice cream! Mountains of it. The stuff is the fairy dust of Mercedes Land!

Congrats on your new E. Post some pics.
As for brake dust, it sucks. As far as I know, no one produces aftermarket pads with the correct sensors, let alone dustless versions. The sensor technology must be proprietary otherwise it shouldn't be that difficult.
I don't know very much about pads, but do softer pads, generally, equate to better braking performance?
