Aux Battery (2009 W211)

Hello,

i recently bought a 2009 w211.
I previously had a 2005 w211 and I replaced the AUX battery in the front right, located under the cabin filter.
today, out of curiosity i wanted to check when that battery was replaced and it wasn't there!
did they remove it after the facelift? does my car not have one? was it taken out?

Note:- It's a US-spec car (Idk if that makes a difference) and I cant seem to find any terminals but there are to free bolt holes so I'm curious as to what they're for.

The AUX battery was there as a fail-safe to keep the SBC pump powered in case of an alternator or electrical system failure. It was eliminated along with the SBC system in 2007.
