I have a 2009 E350 -W211 - 755 (Steel Gray Metallic) and looking to upgrade a couple of the spoiler options, considering the carbon fiber, wanted to know if anyone else has done it and if so any pics -
Considering the following carbon fiber upgrades:
1. front grille (pic attached)
2. rear trunk spoiler
3. front lip spoiler
I wouldn't go with the front grille, the big star on a W211 grille kind of cheapens the look of the car in my opinion. I would however recommend also a roof spoiler from Lorinser or similar, as that changes the whole attitude of the car from what I've seen.
Yeah, those are basically pointless upgrades, just for looks. The spoiler doesn't really do anything and a front lip spoiler just makes it more likely you'll scrape it up. Should probably just save the money for some upcoming maintenance items like the intake manifold, motor mounts, etc.
