The look of the wheels/tires is a matter of taste, that's for sure. You either like the wagon wheel look ... http://www.vineyardboise.org/publica...wagonwheel.jpg
... or you don't.
Some things aren't just a matter of taste, though. For one, the car looks to have maybe 2" of rubber between the rims and the road, and maybe zero air between the rubber and the fender arches. Would any rational person give up that much ride comfort and ability to go over bumps just in the interest of lookin' good? Wheels and tires like that are the automotive equivalent of 5" spike heels.
Also, is it an optical illusion, or are the rear wheels really slanting out at the bottom, like there was too much weight in the trunk? Is that called "negative camber"? What effect does that have on the car's handling? Form is being allowed to trump function.
Again, it may look nice, but would you actually want to drive a car that's been hobbled like that?

Hi,
That is the WALD kits for W211. The front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper cost approx $1600 without paint work and installation. They are add on kits. Looks great and cheaper than AMG or Brabus. The AMG will cost around $2600.
The 20" rims are just for the look. I just order the MAYA STM 20x9 and 20X10 for mine E500 and mainly just for the look. For performance, perhaps you go with 18" wheels. The 19" rims are just the same as 20's.

i was at a wheel shop yesterday and i was talking to the sale guy and he recommended me not to get any Maya wheels. he said that for the money that they charge the could pay a bit more attention to the detail. he said that he had his custom complain that Maya builds wheels that sometime have the incorrect off-set on them and they would rub on his customers cars. didn't me to scar you from what you like. i like those rims too. my friend has it on his w210 e55 and they look very nice with a black car.

That is not MAYA's fault, it is the wheel shop's problem. Lots wheel store out there using wrong off-set wheel becasue they can sell the old stock than ordering the correct off-set for the car. You must KNOW what are you getting before they install the wheel for ya. For W211, the off-set is better to keep between 36 to 31. And you also know to know if you are using "high" "medium" or "stand" disk. Many people out there using aftermark brake system require "high" disk wheel. I order mine "high" for the front and "medium" on rear just be sure it will fit both E500 or E55. The off-set for W211 is ET 35 to 38 in the front and ET 30 to 35 in the back. But, you can also use ET 31 and ET29 AL R230's off-set on W211 as well. Basically just keep off-set around ET30 to ET38 and you will be fine.
