ABS light on.

Hi all
I have seen a 2005 E220 cdi w211 for sale for £1700. The looks to be a really nice tidy car milage is average for the year. The only issue i can see is the abs light is on. Any ideas in what could cause this? What would be a guess at a cost to repair?

Thanks

If the light is on, there's a code set. Bring it to a mechanic for a pre purchase inspection and take the "guess" out of the cost.

Ditto above. You need a code reader to figure out what the code is. I think you still had SBC over there and in the US, it's covered by a 25 year warranty, many other countries it's not covered. I'd double check to see what's covered and what's not. For that matter I'm not sure if you even have SBC.

Only had a 10 year warranty on the sbc unit here.
