battery shipping question
Hi,
I need a new battery, part number A0009823308. Is there any dealer or warehouse that can ship it to my home?
The closets dealership is 60 miles away from me. I would prefer not to drive that far, at least while stay-at-home orders are in place.

You're usually better off picking up a battery locally than going to MB. They just have a 2 year warranty on all their parts which probably includes the battery. Places like Autozone or Pepboys would have a longer warranty, typically 3 years.
I like Pepboys, they have the H8 Champion battery which is $150 right now plus $18 core charge and they have a $40 rebate on the battery but that expires on the 25th. They've been having it for a while so maybe they'll renew it but with the current situation, it's hard to say. So $110 after rebate and return of the core. They charge too much to install it, it's rather simple to take out and replace yourself, toughest part is probably just the 61 pound weight of the battery. The Champion battery is made by JCI who also makes Varta which is the OEM for Mercedes. Also has a 4 year warranty

Or, if you don't mind not necessarily getting the best price, just call 1-800-BATTERY. I think this is Interstate Batteries. They will dispatch a van to you with the applicable battery, and install it. My daughter had to use them when her car quit in the parking lot at work. They were pretty fast, too (at least in Western MA they were).
