W211 wheel offset
Hi could someone tell me the offset of front & rear w211 amg rims please. I've some amg rims from my r230 but the rear offset is to wide it looks like a tractor.
Thanks

The 8" front wheel has an offset of 30
The 9" rear wheel has an offset of 39.
The 9.5" rear wheel has an offset of 33.
A square setup with 8.5" wide wheels all around uses an offset of 35.
I'm running R230 wheels, but not R230 size tires. I'm running 245/40/18 up front and 275/35/18 in the rear. With these sizes the fitment is flush, but with the wider stock R230 tires (255 front/285 rear) the tires might stick out of the wheel wells a bit?

This is mine with the SL wheels. The rears are noticeably wider, but not sticking out of the wheel well. Wheels from a W211 AMG would sit further inside the wheel wells and you'd be able to run a wider tire.
I've actually been looking around for another set of front wheels and going to a square setup when these tires wear out, so I can rotate.

Your car looks to me to be ok on the sl rims. These are the ones i've taken off my sl.

Wonder if those have a more aggressive offset? The offset will be stamped into the back of one of the spokes if they're genuine wheels. You're looking for a marking that says "ET" followed by a number.
They look like they're flush with the fenders on the SL, I can see them sticking out on a w211. I'm not even sure if I've ever seen a 211 with that particular wheel? I've seen others with the same style as mine, and the 19" Style IV AMG wheels have found their way onto many E63's.
Some AMG sport package W211s did come with a wheel very similar to the ones on your SL, but the offset is different. I believe it was the 2009 models. Finding a set of those might be an option if you like the 5 spoke design.

Front is et30 A2304012102 8.5
Rear is et33 A2304012002 9.5
I had a scout around online and apparently these are early r230 wheels although i looked on eBay and the cl55 have them as well.
I'm assuming the offset on your wheels is the same as these?
