Squeak when applying brakes.
Last weekend and last night I noticed that evertime I applied the brakes (a fast and loud "SQUEAK") is sounded like a dolphin was squeaking. It is awful..
Anyone else notice this?
I have a had the High Pitch brake fix on my car already..
This is annoying..

it happened to my car. I took it to a dealer to try to get it fix the 1st time. they couldn't find the problem but replace the brake pads anyway.. the problem didn't stop. So, I took it in again.. they still couldn't find the problem only because they didn't hear the squeak sound when I brough it in. finally the 3rd time I took it in the second I heard the noise.. they finally identify the problem(but they didn't tell me what it is) And now it's been a months, they are still waiting for the parts. They said it is coming from Germany......... sigh.. who knows how long this is gonnna drag on....
good luck to you

My 05 CDI brakes had this squeak at about 450 miles. It was there when I pressed the pedal but was not a brake pad squeal. A very annoying sound. A couple days later it was gone.

Squeak
The squeak some of you are hearing is present on SL and E class models with the electronic brakes. The brake pads apply light pressure prior to actualization to squeegee the wheels clean of moisture, to ensure better brake performance.
I have owned five different cars with this braking system and I have experienced the squeak with three of them. Changing the pads is a temporary fix. I have had better luck when they remove the pads and soak them in some solution, but this too lasts about 500 miles. It seems worse if you drive in a dusty climate.

our E320 CDI just had service C inspection yesterday. After i picked up the car, the car also makes the noice like you guys described (coming from the front right). I then drive the car back to the dealer, he tested it.. he said that he can hear the noise but has no idea what the problem is... he then opened the motor hood shakes the brake oil container... then noise was gone...
but he assumed is because the hot weather.. we had 34C here in germany
guess what the inspection has costed?? in total of 427 Euro... only by changing the motor oil/ filter... damn german labor
