Well, I’ve bought it!

The black early E500 I mentioned a few days ago!
Took it for a drive this morning and did not want to get out of it!
The pictures do not really do justice as to how nice this car is.
Plus I have never ever seen such an early example here in New Zealand with the options it has as well.
1: Keyless go
2: Dynamic seats
3: Heated AND cooled seats.
I was going to take a 2009 E500 coupe out as well, but upon moving it for the dealer, I found it was too low to the ground for me. I’m 6ft and am not a little guy in build!
Once I got into the black E500, I knew that this was the car for me.
Hopefully collect it tomorrow or Friday.
Graeme

Looks spectacular--no matter how old a W211 gets, if it's kept clean and without scuffs and whatnot, it looks like a brand new car.

How rare is it to find such a well-optioned E in Kiwiland?

Looks like you got parktronic too. So strange seeing the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car.... It's interesting how it's just a mirror flip including the business card holder. You know it's supposed to be on the left side because you have to reach over with your left hand over to the left to turn the stereo on. On the other side, it's just your right hand it's closer to your hand.

This is the first one I have seen with those options. Have seen a few, but usually with just heated seats and a sunroof.
Later versions might have a few more options, but not the 2003 ones. But I do stand to be corrected!

Yes, has parktronic too.
Forgot to mention that.
One thing I do wish it had though, is the rear sunblind!
