Minor Dent Removal

I'm still not sure where I received it since I'm pretty careful where I park. Thanks in part to the nanopaint, I suppose, the paint was not chipped.Anyway, many could probably live with it, but it bugged the crap out of me.
I called Dent Pro here in the Bay Area, and they did a great job. I was worried since it was at a body line, but they said they could get it out. Cost about $90, but worth it to me. Pretty impressive.

Anyway, he didn't have to remove the interior panels in this case, although he said they do it in some cases. Here, with the window rolled down, he slid a protective sheet between the window and the outer door panel. He then used some tools to push out the dent from the inside. Then he pushed it back in from the outside (using a rubber ended punch rod and a hammer), repeating this process until it was flat.
He mentioned that mercedes, and other higher end vehicles, were easier to work on since the alloy of the panels were better, and paints and clearcoats applied were more flexible.

I am also careful where I park, my partner complains about how far we have to walk, but someone will always get you!

haven't got to dent pro yet since they don't do touch up but i'll call them this weekend to get the dent out. nice job on the car BTW. I had similar dents in a C280 that were removed so I purchased 4 year dent removal insurance for $300 when I bought the E320. I figured that even if I didn't need to use the insurance, it would be like carrying an umbrella to prevent rain. The fellow came to my house to remove the dent and removed the bad dent and another small dent in the front passenger door. He said that he would have charged me $149 each for the dents so I figure that the insurance has paid for itself and I still have 3 more years of coverage.
