Planning on replacing the pcv valve (preventative maintenance) and a connector on my ML W164 with om642. I know that there is an upgraded part number for the hose of the PCV with the red seal having a metalic clip. Is this seal in the newer style hose replacable separately or you have to replace the entire pcv (which comes with the hose) in the future? Would you recommend upgrading the hose or sticking to the old one and replace the seal once a year(as i have done previously)?
