2005 E500 Base Model 55K Miles
Had a problem for past with only 1 side of A/C coming out cool (Drivers). Let it go for several years as I thought it was simply my error in the cooling system buttons/configuration. I only drive my car in the spring/summer and stored first sign of cold weather here in NWI (North West Indiana).
I took it to have the air charged at a local german car mechanic, They took about 2 hours and told me either the switch is bad or the compressor or both, 1500 dollars!! It flashes the 3 lights on the A/C of or off switch when you try to turn it on and also started on my trip back from northern Michigan when it was over 90 degrees.
.I think it is the sensor pressure switch part# 211-000-02-83. Any help from my buds here concerning how to replace and costs? Thank you guys
