SLK AMG Pedals for E Class?

Does anyone know of anyone that has used the SLK AMG Pedals on the E Class?

My dealership claims they wont fit...

I would use the SL AMG pedals but you have to change the whole assembly.

Didn't you just ask this question in this thread?

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/78424-can-sl-amg-pedals-fit-e-class.html

I thought we answered your question already in that thread and there are even pictures in that thread showing you the SLK pedal pads on an E-class car.

And I think by now you should know that dealerships are that knowledgeable.

If I have a new question, I may post a new thread. It depends upon how relevent my new question is to the old one.

But your new question was answered so I'm not sure why you needed to post a new thread.

Why didn't they fit?

Those are the correct parts.

I hope you removed the old pads before trying to put on the new pads.

lyrixmajor: Did you find out why the pedals didn't fit? I'm curious because I don't want to recommend the pedals to people if there is a problem.

Thanks.

the gas pedal portion wasnt a pad. i would have to replace the top portion assembly. i can take of the pedal pad for the gas pedal also.

the brake pedal pad came with an extra piece of plastic that hung down and curved under.

the parking brake pad did fit perfectly, but no use in getting that if the other ones didnt fit.

I suggest taking off the ones on your car and comparing with the ones you bought before returning them. They should look almost exactly the same and fit the exact same way.
