Suspenion conversion: how to stop the error message?
Hi Everyone!
I'm trying to help my friend who has a w211 e350 wagon 4matic. He recently had a local shop replace the air shocks on the rear of the car with traditional shocks.
The problem is that he still has an error message on the dash every time he starts up. It wasn't a problem for him, but he's getting ready to sell the car, and he has had a few buyers get nervous about the warning.
Is there any way to permanently shut off that error message? I have tried google, but I'm not sure what I am even looking for.

contact Arnott they sell conversion kits that include an override that fools the car into thinking the air struts are in working order, they might be able to sell you the override by itself or at least provide some kind of assistance.

I believe you can get away with pulling the airmatic fuse, its the fuse box in the cabin in the left side of the dash. Its a blue 15 fuse that has a gray casing around it. If that doesn't work I think you can buy loops for the airmatic plugs.
