High KM Engine OIL

MB W221 E220
Question High KM Engine OIL
Hi ,
Could not found topic so:
Have w211 E220 CDi with more then 500 km on it...
Question - because of high km stand i should go from 5w to 10 w or whats the suggestions here

High KM oil is basically a marketing gimmick. I believe diesels call for 229.51 or 229.52 oils. Use whatever oil is on the approved listed. There are no 10w oils on either list.

Yeah that's what I thought..
Just bought e220 Asked guy have he changes oil he Said yes and I use 10w -40 cos its half milj on dashboard.
If he wouldn't tell I would just go for 5w- 40 anyways.
