Airmatic/Ride Height Buttons Flashing

2006 Mercedes E500 Wagon
Airmatic/Ride Height Buttons Flashing
Hello all.
I recently purchased a 2006 E500.
When I bought it, the ride height/suspension mode buttons under the shift knob weren’t working but I didn’t pay much mind to it.
Today, I pulled the trim up and saw the connectors for both buttons were unplugged so I plugged them back in. Both the buttons worked perfectly fine.
Later at night, I was in the car and looked down to notice those 2 buttons were flashing. As in the light that illuminates those buttons were flashing. I attached a video to tell what I’m talking about.
I looked through the forums and couldn’t find anything, any help?
