Need to know if a E350 06 has the suspect engines for balancer shaft
Howdy, my name is Agustin, I am buying an old MB 2006 E350 with 81,000 miles, VIN WDBUF56J06A833294 according to Russian site it has engine Engine 272964 30 106728, I Need help to identify if the car I am buying has the potential for the shaft balancer failure, , any help is greatly appreciated it.

It's a simple answer. ALL 2006 models have the balance shaft problem. Some early 2007 models also have it.

As suggested engine is in affected range, clear point (not affected) as of 2729xx30 468993.

It is the ENGINE Number that identifies those with the balance shaft issues, NOT the VIN. This is because that engine appeared accross the whole MB range/ See the attached bulletin from MB that specifies the engine number ranges for those engines that are impacted.
