Have a 2007 e550, the navigation/satellite radio hasn't worked since I got the car and I've tried the different "fixes" suggested on this site and no luck.
Would like to have bluetooth connectivity and SiriusXM, so my question is, anyone here have installed a aftermarket radio that has worked well for them?

I absolutely love my Android head unit. I've got quite a bit of experience installing these kinds of things and running wires so it was intimidating to me in the least. I removed all of my command components and added an aftermarket amp.

I did a complete stereo replacement using the headunit and amp replacement kit from Enfig. I had a shop run RCAs, a remote, and an antenna wire to the trunk for me, and did the rest myself. I spliced into the factory wiring to connect to the speakers in the back. It's not a huge investment, but it is a significant upgrade.

Off topic, but do I recognize your name from the Saab community (TSL) CastorTroy?

What ever you do, don't get a Chinese junk. I bought an (expensive) Avin unit few years ago for my E350 and it the worst thing I ever bought.
