2006 e320 cdi p0730
I bought the car January 2019. That summer, i rebuilt the valve body with the upgraded springs etc.
I replaced the conductor plate, replaced the connector with the two O rings, new filter, new fluid. All Mercedes stuff besides that valve body upgrades.
I drove over 40k miles, no issues besides that stupid common jerking from the original tcc solenoid.
Since it was due, I changed the fluid again, new filter, fluid, whole nine yards.
About 10k miles later, i discovered Mercedes made an upgraded version of the tcc solenoid to get rid of the jerking and since it drives me nuts, i decided to swap it.
Again i took the trans apart, dropped the valve body, replaced the solenoid. When i was taking the valve body out, i accidentally damaged the female connector on the conductor plate.
So I replaced that as well.
New fluid, filter etc.
I went to drive that car and it was stuck in what seemed like 3rd gear. I had it up to 50mph with some slight down shifting.
I found the code p0730.(torque app), i cleared it.
Eventually the car was in a more serious limp mode and the reverse isn't working. It's basically undrivable at this point.
If i start the car, there's no reverse and eventually no forward. I was stuck sticking out of my driveway. I shut it down, did the tcm reset and it gave me forward back enough to drive it back up my driveway and park it.
I figured maybe the new conductor plate was bad.
So here i am, just replaced it again (with new), same with the fluid, filter, gasket and outside connector.
I have no idea where to go from here..
My only thought is possibly one of the pressure regulating solenoids are bad/clogged
Any ideas?
Sorry, just saw you did that. hmmmmm.
