F61 Fuse Keeps blowing

F61 Fuse Keeps blowing

So I replaced the intake air flap (pictured below) since the old one was broken and i was getting the p0410 and another code, forget at the moment, and noticed the broken flap. Since replacement I am blowing fuse f61, the 40 amp for the secondary air injection pump. I can feel the pump turning on and it seemed to be humming away fine at first (unplugging the harness to the fan and plugging back in seemed to turn it on), but now its blowing a fuse every day now that its gotten colder and working more
... the guides for this show the 3.2 motor, and state it could be the check valves. I see one not two on this set up, can it be easily checked. Or has anyone experienced a similar issue?
