Hi guys .. I'm from Tripoli , Libya

I own a ( March - 2006 ) E200 Kompressor which was running perfectly and had no issues at all and in a very good condition.

History : Crankshaft sensor replaced
: SBC system replaced

Two months ago I took it to a repair shop who has original Mercedes computer reader for a regular service to check for codes or problems to do service in advance but everything was ok no codes no problems.

Few days ago I started up the engine in the morning and it started normally , nothing strange or unusual , after exactly one minute while I was touching the climate control different buttons to adjust it, the engine died suddenly and will not start again since. The engine cranks but no start. I checked evey fuse and relay in all three fuse boxes.. nothing.
I bought OBD II reader and checked the engine for error codes .. I found inactive codes archived about intake manifold but no present codes. No errors on car dashboard screen. Everything is working in the car. Fuel Pump makes operating sound when I turn the key to position 2 .. but when I start .. it cranks for seconds but will not start.

I have nothing left to try .. any suggestions ?
The car has now 180,000 KMs

I think your timing chain has jumped a few teeth and lunched the engine.
Search for M271 an timing chain/sprockets

Thank you for the reply. I hop nothing happened to the engine. I read about the chain problem. It is horrifying 🙁
