Getting my Injectors programmed and balanced?
I tested my injectors and found one was not like the others. I ordered a rebuilt one and now the car has a random miss at idle and the idle wanders a bit. Contacting the rebuilder, he suggested that the injector needs to be programed to the ECU. Is this a Star tool thing? It seems to me that programing an injector would not fix a random miss but who knows, maybe it would?
Overall, the car idles a bit smoother than before the injector was changed. I am considering heading to the stealership and having them program the injector. I assume that they can do an electronic flow test and balance all of the injectors? Have any of you had an electronic balance done? is that a thing?
