45 months lease on 2005 E500???

45 months lease on 2005 E500, is there such a thing???

I want to do a 36 months lease, but my dealer told me about a 45 months lease. I've never heard of 45 months, is anyone familiar with this or this an MB special??

Sounds like another abnormal stretch lease. Should be similar to a 48-month lease with slightly higher payments.

Is this "abnormal stretch lease" good or bad? Our first time leasing....

If you would like to keep the car for 45 months, it's fine. Check the price difference between the 45 and 48 month lease rates, and decide accordingly.

My dealer recommended a 42 month lease as opposed to a 48 - when I ran the numbers it turned he was dead on b/c w/a 48 month my monthly would have actually been higher. I've never heard of a 45 month however. Have your dealer run the numbers for you by comparing the 45 month to a 48 and/or 60 month.

Be mindful that if you drive more than 12K miles per year your warranty will expire before your lease does.

I would go with either a 39 or a 42 month lease the payment is not that much different. Everyone i know who did longer regrets it. its almost cheaper to get a 72 month car loan...at www.peoplefirst.com

'06 ML500 w/Apperance pkg & '07 SL550 w/AMG pkg

The 45mo lease special replaced the 39mo one that Mercedes-Benz Credit was running during late Spring & early Summer. They no longer offer the 39, but the 45 will allow you to keep the same residual as 42mos, but stretch the term an extra 3 mos. If you do the caluculations, you will get a lower payment at 45, then going to 48!
