Problem with transmission
regards to all
i have the same error code
but heres what happened and now i need help
i have a 2005 e350
it showed jerks in transmission
i used the scanner it said there was a problem with one of the conductor plate sensors
so my mech took out the plate and we changed the sensor and put it back in. the plate however wasnt in too good a condition to begin with
parts are tough to come by where i am at the mo
so the plate was now not showing any gears in instrument cluster. we put the car in first gear and it accelerated like crazy and then something blew in the gear itself.
so we opened the gear and some parts had broken so we found another gear and rebuilt it
found another conductor plate too.
so now this new plate is detected and we have gears again but car not moving
old plate was blown couldnt recover data
so we called in a guy to program for us he did the coding and car still not moving
i have another e280 . we took its data and pasted its data into the new plate
now the car moves only in c mode all gears and occasionally looses power spec on deceleration.
sports mode and first gear is not working at all. meaning that if i try to move the car is sports mode no movement although moves fine in c mode. if i switch to sport mode when car is moving then it works fine.
Also when i start car in morning it takes two minutes before gear starts working. oil is fresh and so is filter
any advice i am at my wits end.....

What do you mean you opened the gear???? You likely need a whole new conductor plate, I just had the same problem a month ago. Conductor plate will make the transmission do crazy things when it fails especially if you have the 7 speed transmission

hey. when i opened the tcm plate there was metal shavings inside the fluid. my mech said theres been damage in gear as well. we opened it up and two plates were damaged so we had to rebuild the transmission as well.

now the car works perfectly fine in c mode all gears ok...
only in sports mode and manual it doesnt lift off in first gear tahts about the only issue i can see now. checked all solenoid s they working.. also checked current.. the valves and those plastic and silver ***** in the plate...

Before all this can u hook up a scanner and share error codes here. Maybe it's a sensor fault and those can be changed
