Suede Wrapped Rear View Mirror?
Guys,
Quick question; Im looking for some opinions here so let me know what you think. I dropped off the car this morning for the complete headliner and pillars to be re upholstered with the Suede treatment. I've seen leather wrapped and suede rear view mirrors also and think they look good on some cars. I was thinking of having them wrap mine but Im not sure if it's overkill. What do you guys think, wrap it or leave it alone.

Yeah I was sort of thinking they wouldnt be able to wrap it tight enough so poissibly it wouldnt look good. The Suede headliner I believe is standard on all 600 vehicles, I've always wanted it. To me the headliner material they use is very cheap and too light in color for the charcoal interior. I'll post pics this week when I get the car back.

Yeah I actually took your advice and didnt have them wrap the mirror. As soon as you mentioned the electronics and then I remembered the phone mic's are in there also I basically told them forget it. I picked up the car today and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The upholestry work was so perfectly done you would never know it didnt come like that from factory. I'll post pictures tomorrow since it's too dark out. I also had them connect my tv tuner & antenna together with some connector Ive been waiting for. Reception is so so at best; then again our main antenna towers down here in NYC were knocked down a few years ago. Most of the NJ stations came in crystal clear and when close to manhattan the NY ones come in very clear also.
