E320 bluetec, BEWARE of turbo actuator aftermarket replacements

Hey Folks.. want to save you folks the trouble.

I had an issue with my turbo actuator stop working, causing engine to go into limp mode.
Issue was with the tiny wire soldered from main PCB to the housing electrical pads had come loose.

I was having soldering this, so I opted to buy an aftermarket turbo actuator (G85) from Amazon, and replaced it.

It "worked", but it had some issues. Main issue was during light/part throttle ~60mph, engine would suddenly go from bogging down, to normal, then bogging down, repeating, and a feeling of jerkiness.
This really sucked for highway speeds.

I then was determined to fix the actuator I had. Searching around, I ended up buying a dremel with a pin point abrasive attachment.
I was able to grind/sand off the electrical pads and take it down to "yellow" copper. (or I think it was copper).
I purchased new sharp soldering tips, and then was able to solder on some copper wires.

Re-installing, the car is now running smoothly again.

So beware of aftermarket turbo actuators. I really seems that you cannot replace this with just any G85 actuator.. It will "Work" but will not be smooth.
