ABS/ESP warning after I took off brake shield
I had a loose brake shield on the front right wheel, so I removed it. But after I removed it, I got ABS, ESP and brake sensor error/warning, and the power steering went away. The error comes on after driving 20-30 meter.
I have changed the wheel speed sensor because the diagnostics tool said that was the problem. Nothing changed.
Would be really happy for some advise. Have been at this for a couple of weeks.

There's a magnetic ring that the wheel speed sensor uses. That is probably damaged. It could be too far in or too far out. Use only MB parts, some aftermarket ones don't work right either.

My dash became a Christmas tree with the same warnings. I had detached the speed sensor and re-positioned it improperly. I could have also cleaned the face before re-installing.
