w211 cd changer compartment fit help
just got my new little pocket or whatever for the cd changer since i’ve never used it in my life for my e320 cdi. i took out the cd changer itself with a couple of screws and put in the pocket instead. everything went fine until i noticed that when i press the button it tends to stick out more than usual and it requires itself to be pushed back in to go to its normal position. the pocket doesn’t go as far as the cd changer so i have no way of screwing it in. any help?

if anyone’s asking how i was able to make the cd changer door open all i did was connect a female fiber optic loop
