Upgrading DVD playback prices?
I guess this is a question for scorchie and MBenzl....
I'll try not to beat a dead horse, but can you guys post what our options are and the costs to get the euro DVD playback...
example: if we have COMAND do we have to replace the whole unit?
What the cost for the replacement?
Can you recommend anyone on the East cost?

The cost depends on what comand you have...if you are lucky and have on of the first couple of US spec comands, you can get DVD playback on that which can be as cheap of having the comand version coded per stardiagnose.
If you have a 2004 or 2005 US spec comand, your comand does not have DVD (video) playback capabilities and you will have to swap the comand for a euro spec comand...
As long as my stock of euro W211 comands last (which isn't that long), I offer them for 2500USD including shipping per FedEx IP or installation (depending on where one lives and where I might be) and offer a 1000USD refund for a functioning W211 US spec comand after it has been shipped back and received (to california).
