Where to buy a replacement key fob?
I am in need of a new key fob and the dealer here wanted $350 for the key and another $200 to program it. That seems a little steep and I just wanted to check to see if anyone know of any other dealer or options where I can find a better deal.

It doesn't really need programing. Normally they just put the key in the ignition and turn it, that's the programming. They might also delete the old key from the system but maybe you don't want that in case you find the old key or don't want to pay $200 for that. You can also call around and see if anyone is cheaper, usually the closest dealer will price match another dealer. You probably just need to go to the parts department to order it instead of service so you can skip the programming bit.

I actually found an independent locksmith that programmed and cut a brand new mercedes key for me for $275. Didn't even need to wait 3-4 days that the dealer told me. Very happy I didn't pay stealer price!
