06 CDI. Central Gateway Programing a must?
No speedo
no ABS
no ESC
limp mode
Been researching and I’m thinking it’s the central gateway
question is: do I have to re program a new or used one?
can I just run a new or used one out of the box?
is that only for info or does it actually need all the old info transferred to work?

It could be as simple as the rubber o-ring on the throttle body intake having come loose and being stuck under the throttle plate. Before you throw parts at the car, put it on Star and run a diagnosis and in most cases the car will tell you what is wrong with it!
