Auto Sharp Pens for Paint Retouch

Just found out about the auto sharp pen. Even with parktronic, my wife managed to back up into a parked RV and nicked the paint on the rear bumper. Based on the way it is being described, it is used like a crayon to fill in the nicks and blend to the paint level of the car. Has anyone heard of or used this pen? If so, please share your experience. The company site is:

They are OK, but just slightly better than careful application of touch-up paint. The applicator tends to dry out after first use, making it less useful. If you go with it, I'd order extra applicator tips. BTW, I found that the Langka stuff to remove paint blobs actually works really well -- but Langka is now up to $20. www.langka.com

I really like these and have used them for white and desert silver. The metallic flakes seem to lay better than a regular touch-up kit.

It sounds like you need the broad nib for your damage.

As the above poster says, order extras.

I have used them for all 3 of my cars. They are not as good as I had hoped, the paint is not an exact match.
