Trying to remove the EIS from the car.
I have removed the instrument cluster, the lower panel, the air ducting and the rosette per MB instructions Document number AR80.57-P-1000T , page 14.12.01
The EIS unit is loose, but cannot maneuver it out the bottom due to item 6, which is the instrument panel mount. I can physically see that if this bracket comes out I can remove the EIS unit.
MB instructions state to remove item 6, but I cannot find the screw that holds this bracket in place. I can see the screw from underneath, but it is not visible from the top with instrument cluster out.
Did see some YouTube vids, but it is not evident where this screw is in the cluster opening.
Can anyone provide input, all comments appreciated.
