Where's a good place for parts in the UK?

Firstly, hello from the noob Looks like you got a real repository of knowledge here that I hope to tap into a bit. Just bought a 2004 E320 estate for peanuts, generally speaking it's pretty good but one or two things needs sorting, most urgent one being the weather strip on the tailgate because there's a chunk out of it and the car has damp and all the signs of damp (previous owner stockpiling tissues and cloths everywhere. Problem is I'm having real problems sourcing the strip, or any tricky parts in the UK, do I have to go to a MB main dealer?

Just to give something back to the forum, I found out last night that you can check the IR output of a keyfob by looking at it through a mobile phone camera, it can see IR even when the human eye can't for some reason Try it.

Post VIN to confirm correct part #. In addition, search 2117401178 @ https://www.ebay.co.uk, and two more US sources to comparison shop new parts: https://www.pelicanparts.com/Mercedes-Benz/index-SC.htm & https://www.fcpeuro.com/
