W211 left brake light won’t go off.

W211 left brake light won’t go off.
I have an 04 E55 with the drivers side led brake light stuck on. I’ve searched on a few forums and found nothing. I don’t have any codes for anything electronic or light related. I replaces the bulb backing plate with a new one that I already had and replaced the pedal switch with new as well. Is there a relay that splits the left and right circuits somewhere? When I unplug the led, a backup bulb comes on.
This light stays on whether the key is on or off. The right brake light works correctly.

Thanks for your reply. It seems that it’s all plugged in.
It turns out that my right side led stop light is not working. Not sure how that could make the left stick on. It’s odd because the left led light is on without the key being on. The lower brake lights only work with the key being on. I’m gonna check out the right led and see if it’s burnt out or bad wiring first.

thanks, but that’s not it. It’s only the left upper led brake light. The running lights are not led. I’ve since discovered that the left one isn’t working. The led is good but it’s not getting a signal. The lower brake lights work normally. I tried posting pics but for whatever reason they won’t post.
