05 e500 to 07 e63 engine swap ?

What modules need to transferred in order to complete a engine swap from a 05 e500 to a 07 e63 amg ? I’m getting the ecu and tcu of course but I’m worried for ignition , esp abs , will sbc have problems ? ( since facelift doesn’t have sbc )

Fuel system, wiring harness, PWM controllers, sensor wiring or the entire harness from the E63. There's an lot of interconnected modules. You have quite the challenge...

Doesn’t the fuel , air mix ratio etc come with the ecu ? Or do you mean entire fuel system ?(fuel rail and fuel lines) Engine comes w complete harness and original ecu + tcu .
All the modules are in the e63 still , I’m just wondering what major modules need to be transferred so I can get the car running once everything is swapped .

The E63 uses PWM controllers (one per fuel pump) located on the wheel well of the passenger side. These PWM controllers vary the fuel pressure based upon signals from the ME (Motor Electronics) which, in turn, varies the PWM signals based upon input from multiple sensors. WIS has a good description of all that is going on with the ME in the E63.

So...all sensors associated with the ME of the E63. PWM controllers in trunk. Wiring harness for the fuel pumps. Fuel pumps. Probably new fuel filter/regulator so the internal tank connections will match between the pumps and filter/regulator.

And then there is SBC...I cannot even begin to tell what issues will occur or if. SBC solenoids are activated in accordance with signals from ESP/ABS/wheel rotation/Yaw sensors etc. Would new Motor Electronics and TCU affect the SBC? I don't know.

Hope it works for ya.
