E280 petrol hot start problem




However, since you already changed the relay and the crankshaft position sensor, you can continue throwing a few more parts at it such as camshaft position sensors (4) plus camshaft solenoids (4) and still have the same problem, or invest in the scanner and diagnose it that way first.
Q's:
Does it crank when hot? If yes, the starter should be good enough
Can you follow an electric circuit with a digital voltmeter? You will need one to determine if
the fuel pump is being activated (ECU signaling to be ready)
the camshaft solenoids are working
the camshaft position sensors are working
signal to see if the ECU is activating the ignition coils
etc..
