E280 petrol hot start problem
Hi all I have 2007 e280 petrol and when car gets hot up to running temp it won't start till cooled down ,I have tried changing fuel relay and crankshaft sensor but still doing it anyone with a petrol had these problems and fixes,it's did show up CPS sensor so had that replaced and no new fault codes ,the car seems to run fine no grumpy running issues or stalling

Have you scanned the vehicle for DTC codes? It is more difficult to diagnose w/o the initial information from the car itself.
However, since you already changed the relay and the crankshaft position sensor, you can continue throwing a few more parts at it such as camshaft position sensors (4) plus camshaft solenoids (4) and still have the same problem, or invest in the scanner and diagnose it that way first.
Q's:
Does it crank when hot? If yes, the starter should be good enough
Can you follow an electric circuit with a digital voltmeter? You will need one to determine if
the fuel pump is being activated (ECU signaling to be ready)
the camshaft solenoids are working
the camshaft position sensors are working
signal to see if the ECU is activating the ignition coils
etc..

It only showed up crankshaft sensor code changed it and cleared code hasn't come bk but still the same,no new codes coming up,it does start sometimes when hot but always from cold,I noticed a little bit of white smoke on tickover today but goes when you drive it ,I don't have my own machine to plug it in have to go garage
