Got 2006 E320 CDI with 191,567 miles. All of a sudden car had no power when pressing on accelerator. It has no code showing. I drove it 35 miles and it would never get above 2,000rpms. It shifted fine with no issues. I can get it up to 70mph but it takes a while. On way home from work CEL came on I got home with no issues, but cannot get it over 2,000rpms. I scanned code and got P2015. Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor /Switch Range/Performance (Bank 1). It appears to be the intake flapper but I do not see it. I looked all over forums and google and still have no idea where it is. Also I looked for part and all the parts I found do not match. Any ideas or help?
Also can I drive it as is with no further issues until fixed and how easy is it to replace this magical valve that I cannot see?

I found the intake manifold actuator. I ordered new one. I read some threads for how to replace but they are for different model. Can this be done without removing engine mount etc.,? Can it be done from the top and not the bottom?

yes, it fixed it. You need to be very careful of plastic ball clips. You break one you are done. May want to buy clip just in case. Took about 2 hours due to fragile plastic clips. Use slot of lubricant and be very careful

yes, it fixed it. You need to be very careful of plastic ball clips. You break one you are done. May want to buy clip just in case. Took about 2 hours due to fragile plastic clips. Use slot of lubricant and be very careful
