If you have access to a scanner that can talk back and forth with the car, I bet you can just tell the computer that the TPMS system is "not present". No need for Star/Xentry; if it can be done my Launch tablet could do it.

I do not have a scanner. Do you know of any places in NJ that may be able to do it for me?
For liability reasons no manufacturer provides an ability to disable a safety system. In this case a system mandated by law. Nor will a reputable mechanic for same reason. If you’re tired of the message, get the system repaired.
I found it easy enough to turn off the seat belt reminder chime on my W211, my W212 and my W166.
Just say'n.
That said, I did that. I didn't ask a mechanic to, and you're likely correct in that it would be difficult to convince one to do so.
You will need a bi-directional scanner with the ability to change programming parameters on individually selected modules (i.e. Autel MaxiSys, Snap-On Modis, etc.)
Mercedes does allow TPMS parameter to be changed to "not present."
A dealership most certainly won't do it due to the paper trail left behind by Xentry Diagnosis... but I can almost guarantee you that only a Euro shop will even have half an idea as to what you're talking about if you choose to take it somewhere. I have a winter tire/wheel combo on my wife's 13 C300 and I don't have sensors installed in them, so I code it to "not present" every swap-over and it's never caused any issues.
I have an 07 and it doesn’t seem to have the TPMS stems but from what I’ve read, the system is standard. I’m wondering if the previous owner made the change or if in fact TPMS was an option and not standard for the year. 🤷🏾♂️

TPM is standard and does not include wheel sensors rather monitors the tire inflation pressure by evaluating each wheel’s rotational speed. This allows the system to detect a significant loss of pressure in a tire. If a wheel’s rotational speed changes due to falling tire inflation pressure, you will see a corresponding warning message in the multifunction display.

This is false. I dont know about options but this is incorrect. I've been completely flat with no indication anywhere.
I just bought a set of AMG wheels off Facebook marketplace. I’m getting new tires for it but I don’t know if it has the TPMS sensors. I can’t repair something that isn’t installed on the wheel itself. So I also wonder if I can bypass it too. I got those tablet scanners so I might be able to tell the computer to turn off the light

TPMS sensors are available all day long on Ebay. Your scanner probably works to turn them on just as easily as turning them off. The cost will be insignificant compared to those AMG wheels.
