Euro COMAND, Wood Wheel and Bumper Strips installed..

Thanks to Steve (MBenzNL), got it all done and installed this afternoon in under an hour and a half. Good portion of that time was spent programing the new COMAND. The appearance of the COMAND screen looks different, like its interlaced vertically, dont know if its my imagination. Getting used to the Euro terms for navi, i.e., "Petrol Station" = gas station, "Management" = City Hall (haha?), and some other funny ones. British accent is a nice touch, but still not very fluid. I prefer the Brit, she sounds cuter. Havent tried any MP3s yet, have to burn some. RDS works great (YAY! - big pet peeve). A lot of the menu options throughout the COMAND are different. I got into some kind of phonebook with German contacts (?). Wood wheel is amazing, great touch. My car was ordered with it but like many others, no go.

I'll post pics in a bit.

I did have the Maya STM 20's on my E500 now. Just too lazy to take pics, but one of the member here have see my rims. Looks really nice. I guess I'll take few pics after wash my car. BTW, I think the other night I have post the rear rim on one of these picture treat at E55 section I thinks...

The pic at my sig is the kits I am thinking to install to my car. It is a WALT kits. What do you think? I am also thinking to get the ART, which the manufacture make for Brabus, but it looks too plain.... Still undecisive on body kits.

Yea, no kidding.. I was supposed to have wheels several months ago. And I would have lowered it but didnt want to do washer method, but not spend 2K for a module!

Actually, considering what I got, it was a very reasonable deal. No way anyone could complain- less than half of dealer cost.

The strips look very clean, can't wait until I get my painted lenses! Hey, just don't get caught watching pornos while driving, you might not have an accident, but you might cause others!!
