Headlight switch function
There is a headlight switch that has a rotary switch with the main knob, with markings 0 1 2 3. what does this switch do?

In Germany, you need to be able to park on the shoulder of the road and leave parking lights on that burn on the street side of the car.
To avoid running down a battery, the light switch has positions that just light the left side or the right side markers lights.
I remember a friend had a 1962 220S that had this feature so its not a new thing.
