pano roof availability in NY?

pano roof availability in NY?
checked back lots of 2 big dealers near me, and not a single pano model at either spot. seen a few on the road and want to get a detailed look, as considering buy of new car. can these things be found in NY area?
whats the odds of seeing one on a 4matic?

usually, you will not see a pano roof one in dealer lots because most of lease customers do not need this feature in order to reduce the price down. (dealers place orders for minimized features on cars, e.g premium package.) the one having pano roof is ordered by a waiting owner who usually picks up this car when it arrives immediately. (same thing for 4matics)
both pano and 4matics features are good to have. this is my 2 cents.

Call Jim Kavanaugh at the MB dealership in the city (call the main # and ask for him by name, as I don't think he'd appreciate his cell # being posted 
). Ask him if he's got any pano roofs there. Even if he doesn't (which I doubt), he can probably take you to the 55th street showroom and they're bound to have one.
Worst-case they won't have one on an E, but the dealership on 41st where Jim is usually has at least an SL or a C Kompressor with the roof. It's not the same, but you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect if you've never seen the roof in person from the inside.
And let me know if you decide to buy the car from him... I'll rag him about it next time I see him to get a nice(r) discount...

Check out Benzl Busch in Englewood - ask for Larry. I saw an e500 with one there...

Keep trying to see one if you can. I was going to get a sunroof until my salesman showed me one on his personally owned car. It's a great feature and the pictures don't do it justice.
