Has anyone replaced the gear on the motor instead of the entire motor? I found a way to keep the motor housing in place but the gear has worn down. I'd love to just order the gear instead of the entire motor. Anyone???

Haven't done it myself, but I've seen many videos on YouTube, you can buy the gear on eBay. I remember them taking a pin and hamering it out

Thanks for the response. I ended up buying another motor assembly on eBay for $29. I went to install it and found that the body was slightly different and one of the mounting points had a different orientation so I had to take motor apart and swap the entire gear out. The roof works better now but still not right.
i still have no tilt and one side always tries to go faster than the other.
